KIDS' STUFF TAG SALE The Spring Kids' Stuff Tag Sale is just around the corner! On Saturday, May 3, 8am-noon, AFN will hold its Spring Kids' Stuff Tag Sale behind the Acton Town Hall on Main Street in Acton Center. Clean out your kid's room, attic, or basement and turn those gently used baby/children's clothes (age birth-12 years), toys, baby equipment, books, sporting goods and maternity items into cash! Interested in setting up a table? AFN will do all of the advertising- just bring a table or blanket/sheet and items to sell. The items must be kid-related.no household, artisan, or baked items, please. All proceeds from individual tables are kept by the seller. AFN members can set up a table for $20, non-members, $30. To reserve a table or get more information about the tag sale, please contact Mariah Straayer at tagsale@actonfamily.org. Thank you! We need volunteers to bake and sell items at the AFN table, which is hosting a charity bake sale. If you can bring cookies, bread, muffins, other baked goods, or individually portioned munchies like goldfish, pretzels, and the like, or if you can spend an hour or so staffing the table, contact Orissa Lawrence (orissalawrence@yahoo.com). All proceeds from table fees and the AFN Bake Sale Table will be donated to the Household Goods Recycling Ministry (www.hgrm.org). Please come and support the tag sale by buying items from your fellow AFN members, friends and neighbors!. |
"Thank you to everyone from AFN who planned the Kid's Stuff Tag Sale. This
is the first year I was there as a seller -- as I had been a buyer at the previous two sales. It was extremely well advertised, very organized, and I am pleased to say that the sales at my table were better than I had anticipated. I have to admit, I was a bit choked
up as I watched my daughter's stroller roll away across the parking lot... but
also thrilled to have unloaded a heap of kid's stuff from my home." |
