STORY HOUR

On Tuesday, January 24, 4:30pm come enjoy Jane Yolen's Caldecott Medal winner, Owl Moon. This charming story follows a father and his child out owling one cold winter night. After reading we will take our own early evening winter walk and then come back in to enjoy hot chocolate.

On Thursday, February 16, 10am we will snuggle inside from the cold to enjoy some wintry classics. Come see what happens when, one by one, woodland animals find and crawl into a wool mitten in our reading of Jan Brett's The Mitten. Then we will turn our attention to Phyllis Root's Grandmother Winter. Your storyhour participant will also enjoy a follow-up mitten craft and some yummy mitten cookies. Then, as a special Little Helpers service project, we will collect mittens for children in need. Please consider bringing new or gently used mittens and or hats and scarves to this story hour.
